Shutter Island 4 1/2
The Wolfman -5- this was a really great movie remake with updated effects and great storyline and music as well. It kept me in my seat and the effects were great. Contrary to that goof on channel 9 who said it was too gorey, it wasn't, Ive seen much more bloody. The scenery was really great, and I felt as if I were there in London.
Legion -4 1/2- this was a pretty good movie all in all but I wanted more fighting. The storyline was pretty good and the effects were good.
Avatar -5- wow amazing, this was really worth the wait and really I would see it again and recommend it to people. It was very visual and the graphics in the movie were really utilized well with a great storyline with lots of action. I think Cameron has a great hit here something unique and different for the new decade to come.
Surrogates -4- If you enjoy Irobot, the 6th Day and AI you would enjoy this as well. Robots get no respect and often found to be misunderstood or likenesses such as duplicates or surrogates in this case starring Bruce Willis. Like Matrix as well were if your user does something you can feel it and eventually die from a horrid stolen weapon designed by the military which should not be in anyone's hands. It has great special effects and a pretty good story line. Although most of the surrogates looked heavy in makeup and too perfect and kinda creepy they managed to pull it off and you wonder who the meatbags are that are controlling the surrogates even creepier.
To make room for other things, here is the original movie intro for Star Wars IV a New Hope it;s in the comic adaptation I bought back in 77....
